Our methods

The manufacturing of steel structures by PMB Steel represents a meticulous process divided into three main phases: Design, Manufacturing, and Assembly. Each phase is crucial to guarantee quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Conception, Design, Plans

The design phase begins with the development of the conceptual design, followed by proposal drawings which, once approved, lead to contract award. This stage concludes with the approval and creation of shop drawings, ensuring that every detail meets the specific requirements of the project.

02

Fabrication

During manufacturing, emphasis is placed on safety, quality and adherence to schedule. Raw materials are subjected to tensile testing before being worked via CNC and hydraulic cutting processes, followed by automatic and manual welding. The parts are then straightened, ground, and go through non-destructive testing and surface preparation before being painted. The process ends with packaging and delivery of the components.

Logistics

PMB Steel implements delivery logistics. This process includes careful planning of routes, selection of transport modes and close coordination with local partners to ensure efficient and timely delivery. This crucial step ensures that components arrive in perfect condition, ready for assembly at the project site, underlining PMB Steel's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction across the continent.

04

Erection

On-site assembly begins with the installation of anchor bolts, followed by the erection of frames. The installation of the panels and accessories precedes the completion of the project, marking the end of the construction process and the achievement of a robust and durable steel structure.
